Meet the Winner and Finalists of Our 2015 Cover Contest

Presenting the winner of our 2015 cover contest, plus a peek behind the scenes at our photo shoot with all eight awesome finalists, photographed at PhotoOp NYC, and sponsorship provided by Appaman, Pear Tree Greetings, and CityPASS.

The eight adorable finalists from our cover contest search were ready for their close-up at PhotoOp NYC at the end of June. After hamming it up for a few group shots, each finalist dressed up in duds provided by wardrobe sponsor Appaman and got his or her chance to shine with a team of professional photographers.

All eight kids wowed our editors and photographers with their best “cheeeeeeese!”. But it’s 4-year-old Kennedy from Bergen County, NJ, who has been selected as our Grand Prize Winner, taking away a $500 gift card from our partners at Pear Tree Greetings and securing her spot on a future NYMetroParents cover. All of the finalists, including our Fan Favorite, 3-year-old Veron from Queens, received a $25 gift card to Appaman and two New York CityPASS ticket books worth $114 each.

We look forward to sharing these smiling faces in our pages in the months to come. Now, get to know this year’s brightest smiles a bit better!
