The Mid-Island Y JCC Early Childhood Center helps children grow, develop their own identies and experience relationships with both children and adults. Children find materials and equipment which invite them to explore their environment and enhance their physical and intellectual development. The teachers plan opportunities for experience with music, dance, science, literature, language development, creative movement and conceptual learning. They are helped to express their needs, use their bodies, minds and feelings, and through a variety of programs are provided with a positive Jewish identification.

DaVinci Learning Center in Port Jefferson specializes in working with students of all ages with learning disabilities. They specialize in reading disorders, specifically Dyslexia. The program directors, Kerry Leo and Elaine Micali specialize in uncovering the root of the disorder and design a customized Learning Plan to address the student's specific needs. Summer programs are available in reading, writing, spelling and math. They also offer Neuropsychological and Educational evaluations. The DaVinci Learning Center-"where students learn how they learn best."

Intro To Dance is a friendly, co-ed, and noncompetitive private studio, specializing in ballet, tap, jazz, and Tiny Tots. Private classes are offered upon request. Located in Centereach. Founded in 1985, SLCD is a 501 © (3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping children with severe language and autism spectrum disorders. We provide special education programs for preschool and school age children (K-12). At SLCD, we believe language is the key to creativity, self-expression and academic achievement. St. Patrick Youth community offers sports, and an enrichment and learning center year round. Fall hosts dek hockey and basketball and winter has basketball intramurals.
