Tanger Outlets Deer Park Now Accepting Entries for Grant Program

TangerKIDS Grant Program, an initiative that gives award money to schools within the communities of Tanger Outlet Centers, is now accepting entries within Deer Park and adjacent communities. The program was designed to fund local schools for things such as programs, rebuilding equipment, academic materials, and supporting athletic or band programs. More than $200,000 is awarded to schools in need each year.

Applications for Deer Park and the adjacent areas opened on Jan. 11 and will be accepted until March 15. Teachers and administrators from schools in the area can submit applications for programs and projects in need of a grant. The majority of the program or project must be completed between August 2019 and May 2020. Each school can submit multiple requests, with each being considered separately.
