Join Samantha Friedman, assistant curator in MoMA's Department of Drawings and Prints, as she reads from her new children's bookWhat Degas Saw. Listen to the story of artist Edgar Degas as he tried to capture the changing world around him.
Pop! Goes the Easel

11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Head to the theater for a concert with duo Balthrop, Alabama singing from Pop! Goes the Easel, a collection of songs inspired by works in MoMA’s collection and set to the tune of classic kid favorites! With live drawing by Michael Arthur. Recommended for kids ages four and older.
In addition to this special programming MoMA offers great things for kids to do year-round. They offer Family Gallery Talks for kids ages 4-14 and adults, art workshops for different age groups, film programs to introduce young kids to talking about film, and their interactive space which includes different art-making stations.
