Laurie Berkner is Performing Live Concerts on Facebook

Get the kids up and dancing with Laurie Berkner's live-streamed concerts on weekdays at 10am.

During this time of social distancing, it can be difficult to think of ways to keep kids active while indoors. Legendary children's musician Laurie Berkner is giving families a reason to get up and move during this time indoors with live "Berkner Break" concerts, streamed most weekday mornings at 10am on Facebook. Berkner's songs, movement activities, and stories will lift spirits and get the kids dancing and singing along to well-loved favorites by Berkner like "We Are The Dinosaurs" and "Waiting For the Elevator."

Berkner's songs are not only fun and catchy, but they encourage enthusiasm while teaching emotional and intellectual development. The best part is, kids won't even realize how much they're learning while singing and dancing along.

In addition to live-streamed concerts, Berkner will post a video of one of her songs on social media for a morning Berkner Breakfast (7am), an afternoon Berkner Break (3pm), and an evening Berkner Bedtime (7pm). Breaking up the day with activities and "events" to look forward to is more important now than ever, and Berkner's morning, afternoon, and evening videos can help keep kids on track and maintaining a schedule despite the disruption in every family's life right now.

For Berkner's most educational content, visit her Youtube channel where Berkner has put together a 50-minute "Educational Music Videos" compilation of over 20 music videos that focus on counting, the alphabet, telling time, emotions, and more.

Berkner's music encourages curiosity in children and can even inspire new imaginative games for the whole family to play while stuck inside. Maybe you can balance your favorite stuffed animal on your head while listening to "Pig on Her Head" or march around the house like a dinosaur while listening to "We Are The Dinosaurs."
