We've compiled a guide to parks, rinks, and other sports centers in Queens that offer healthy and fun activities - like hiking, kayaking, and table tennis - for all ages.

    New York International Table Tennis Center

    Yet another table tennis center in Flushing, this center offers teen training groups (in addition to its many programs). Each lesson is an hour long and free of charge; must be 8-10 people per group to qualify.

    World's Fair Marina

    Flushing; (718) 478-0480; www.nycgovparks.org

    Located by Flushing Bay, the site welcomes users to launch their powerboats, kayaks, and canoes free of charge. Permits are required and are available for $15 per season. Open until November 15.

    Cunningham Park

    One of Queens' largest, this park offers a slew of outdoor amenities including handball courts, bicycle and hiking trails, cricket fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, bocce ball courts, and more.
