Young Chefs Academy of New City Offers Summer Mini-Camps

Young Chefs Academy of New City Offers Summer Mini-Camps

Young Chefs Academy of New City, a cooking school for kids, launches Camp Can-I-Cook, a series of themed mini-camps.

Through Camp Can-I-Cook, Young Chefs Academy of New City provides three- to four-day hands-on camps for children ages 6 and older. Camp themes vary and include farm to table, international flavors, popular recipes from decades past, a friendly culinary competition, and several sweet options. The mini camps are held from 9am-12pm on select dates between June 26 and Aug. 17 at the Young Chefs Academy location in New City.

“Young Chefs Academy is a place where your child can go off to camp and come home with gained culinary skills, new friendships, original Young Chefs Academy recipes, and memories to utilize and last a lifetime,” says Tina Latina, New City location owner. The mini-camps are also offered during select school holidays.

The staff of Young Chefs Academy is friendly and engaging but also serious about their work. They pride themselves in teaching children the rules of cooking and new recipes while also striving to make it a fun and memorable experience for all. Young Chefs Academy's mission is to teach children the joy and value of cooking and to provide an interactive learning experience that gives children the opportunity to develop a lifelong love for the culinary arts.

In addition to Camp Can-I-Cook, Young Chef’s Academy of New City also offers cooking classes, birthday parties, field trips for Girl Scouts, workshops, and team-building activities for local companies.

Young Chefs Academy is located at 59 S. Main St., Suite 2 in New City. For more information call 845-638-0601, email [email protected], or visit
