The Wholeness Center in Valley Cottage Expands Offerings

The Wholeness Center now offers kids' birthday parties and MommaArts, which provides maternity care and support for parents.

The Wholeness Center, located in Valley Cottage, has several new offerings available for children, as well as for parents. The wellness center opened in January and is a place where the whole family can focus on self-care and personal growth.

“We want our customers to feel the support, be inspired, and rejuvenate their body, mind, and spirit,” says Michelle Miller, director of The Wholeness Center.

Kids' birthday parties at The Wholeness Center can include different creative activities, such as mala bead necklace making.

MommaArts joined the center in June to provide services for mothers and expecting parents, such as holistic childbirth workshops and pregnancy support groups. The wellness center also offers nutrition counseling by its in-house nutritionist and prenatal massage through its massage department.

The Wholeness Center offers several yoga classes, which run in four-week sessions. Mommy and Me (6 weeks to 2 years), Tween Flow (8-12 years), and Strike a Pose! (4-8 years) will start in July. Yoga classes for kids also include creative outlets for children, such as mindful drawing. Waiting areas for parents to enjoy services in or wait for their children will be coming in the fall.
