Friendsgiving at the Village Branch

Free. Advanced registration required. 

Celebrate Thanksgiving in classic Charlie Brown style: do simple crafts, share in the “traditional” Snoopy feast of jellybeans, popcorn, pretzels, and toast, and watch "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving".

Admission by non-perishable/canned food items donation

Come out for an afternoon of musical activities, games, karaoke, instrument exploration, and even learn to DJ at this Thanksgiving Music Event & Food Drive. All ages are welcome and kids/adults alike will leave learning something new within the world of music! Enrollment discounts will also be available for this day only. If you have been contemplating learning a new instrument, now is the time to get started!

Kick off the Thanksgiving holiday out in the woods as you search for the signs and sounds of wild turkeys! Learn all about this fascinating bird that is so prevalent this time of year and discover the turkey’s natural history, unique adaptations, and connection to the first Thanksgiving. Make a fun Turkey craft and check out turkey feathers, a call box, and more up close -- and maybe even come across some live ones along the trail during a guided walk!
