Visitors will also get to meet the Field Station’s new 15-foot-tall Tyrannosaurus rex, which will be featured in the park’s live shows at the Field Station’s Goya Amphitheater.
Additionally, prices for day passes to Field Station: Dinosaurs have been lowered to $15, and a new “anytime” ticket can be used any day during the 2015 season.
The Town of Secaucus has lowered the environmental fee collected for parking to $5 per vehicle.
So where is the park moving? Hudson County is repurposing the land on which Field Station: Dinosaurs currently resides, making it necessary for the dinosaurs to find a new home starting in 2016. Details have not yet been announced on where the dinosaurs’ new home will be.
Field Station: Dinosaurs is located at 1 Dinosaur Way (off Exit 15X of the New Jersey Turnpike) at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus, NJ. Admission to the park starts at $15 (when purchased prior to July 4) and tickets are available online at FieldStationDinosaurs.comand by phone at 855-999-9010. Park hours are as follows: May 23–June 28: weekends and Memorial Day 10am-6pm. June 30–Sept. 6: Tuesday-Sunday and Labor Day 10am-6pm. Season passes and add-ons for access to all of the park’s programming and activities are also available.
